In the Advanced Chipset Features, you can user
define your ram timings. As per normal, the 865PE can be patched to attain
similar performance to the 875P. In our settings, we enabled the chipset
specific optimisations as shown above. The ram timings used is CAS 2,
5-2-2. |
Enabling the Super Patch
increases the performance of the system. |

|
FSB of the system is selectable up to 400MHz.
Unless you have an ES of the P4 chip, 320MHz is probably the furthest you
can reach based on a locked multiplier (retail CPU) |
AGP/PCI/SATA can be FIXED at the various
settings. In our case, we set it to 66/33/100 |
|
|
CPU Vcore is selectable up to 1.975v from its
default. In our tests, with 1.65v we can reach 260MHz FSB with 2 sticks of
Corsair DDR500 module. |
DIMM Voltage should be set to 2.7v for
stability of DDR400 modules. The default is 2.6 and this resulted in no POST
with 2 sticks. What you could do is to install 1 stick, set it to 2.7v,
shutdown and install the other stick. It should POST without any problems. |

|
AGP Voltage from 1.50v ~ 1.80v |
CMOS Reloaded allows you to save up to 4 sets
of CMOS settings for the best performance for specific applications or
overclocking needs. |
