Overclocker 29 Mar 2003

CPU Vcore adjustments are necessary if you wish to overclock your CPU. On the EPoX 4PEA800, you can select up to +0.35v of the default voltage. That is to say a possible 2.00v can be supplied to your P4 processor. Although seldom used, you can set the AGP voltage up to +0.70v of default. e.g. up to 2.2v from 1.5v
With all these voltage tweaks, the system can be overclocked to above the spec limit of the CPU by up to 80%. We managed to overclock a P4 1.8A (18x100) to 18x155 at CAS 2, 2-2-5.
One of the limiting factors of overclocking could be due to the DIMM voltage, EPoX 4PEA800 allows you to set it up to +0.7v of default which is 3.2v
