ASUS A8V Deluxe can be said to the
Socket 939 edition of the famous K8V that is well discussed in worldwide forums.
A8V Deluxe Supports AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64FX/Athlon 64 This motherboard supports AMD 939-pin Athlon 64 FX/ Athlon 64 processors
with 1MB/512KB L2 cache which is based on 64-bit architecture. It features 2000
MT/s HyperTransport Bus, dual-channel un-buffered DDR400 memory support and AMD
Cool 'n' Quiet! Technology.
This mainboard uses the new VIA
K8T800Pro which incorporates two Serial ATA connectors with RAID 0(striping),
RAID 1(mirroring), and JBOD(spanning) functions while the Promise 20378
controller provides another two Serial ATA and two UltraATA133 connectors for
RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), RAID 0+1, and multiple RAID functions.
On top of that it supports 1394,
GbLAN through the Marvell controller. 8 channel audio is also available on board
and AI Audio automatically detects and identifies what types of peripherals are
plugged into the audio I/O jacks and notifies users of inappropriate connection.
There are also three Universal Audio Jack (UAJŪ), which eliminates cable
connection errors and confusion among Line-in, Line-out and Mic jacks. With the
bundled WinDVD Platinum 5, A8V Deluxe supports 7.1-channel output, making your
