Sony Ericsson K500i Triband GSM 900/1800/1900 Camera
Phone Review (5)
SE K500i video run through
Conclusion The SonyEricsson K500i is a fun phone for everyone. It is lightweight and offers functions that are subset of the amazing K700i. The phone comes with IrDA which enables you to transfer ringtones, images, videos, schemes, java easily. EasyShare makes the SonyEricsson K500i a very open phone and you can share all sort of media, contacts etc with friends just by beaming it. Other phones needs special software to transfer in/out which is cumbersome as you would need a PC for that purpose. The absence of bluetooth and radio tuner are probably what K500i users will be disappointed. . The MIDI ringtone is exceptionally loud and is comparable to the Samsung. In fact, the MIDI ringtones are the best among all the phones because it uses wavetable playback. MP3 files can be used as ringtones as well and they are really nice. The phone has a moderate vibration alert. It also supports voice dialing. The built-in camera allows you to take VGA quality images. There is an extended more which we feel is an interlaced mode which extrapolates the pixels to make it a 1280x960 image. Colour saturation is very good and we don't see bluish corners of pictures taken using the 300K pixel camera. There is a video recording capability built in recording in 3GP format. Overall, the little brother of K700i which is more affordable. Pros :
