Benchmarks PCmark2004

PCmark2004 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

It is interesting to see the results of PCMark2004 as it is dependent on disk, graphics subsystems. With the 6600GT graphics card, we obtained a good score of 4650. This came as a surprise as the results are 50-80 points behind the NF4 platforms. The Jetway performs slightly better than the MSI MS-7093+6600GTwhich uses the SB400 south bridge instead of ULi M1573. Something we noticed is that when ATI RX480 is paired with ATi graphics card, the performance seems better. It seems to be so for NV with NV as well.
