AM2NF4G-SATA2 is the first board we receive that supports the upcoming Socket 940 AM2 processor. With a mATX footprint of 9.6in x 9.6in (24x24cm), this ROHS compliant mATX board supports the AM2 940 pin Althon 64/64FX/64X2 and Sempron processor. While most new boards you see will be based on newer chipsets, ASrock AM2NF4G-SATA2 reinvents the wheel by using the most economical chipsets, the NVIDIA GeForce 6100 NB + NForce 410 MCP SB. The board supports Dual chanel DDRII 800/667/533 with a max capacity of 8GB.

As it uses the 6100 NB, it supports integrated NV44 graphics supporting PS 3.0 and has a max share memory of 128MB. The board also comes with Realtek ALC 888 7.1 ch audio codec with HDA and Realtek PHY RTL 8201CL for Fast Ethernet connection. The board is also equipped with 2 SATA II 3.0Gb/s supporting RAID 0,1,JBOD and "Hot Plug". The board also comes with  CPU temperature sensing, CPU overheat shutdown, fan tachometer, chasis fan tachometer, cpu quiet fan and voltage monitoring. The board is also Windows Vista Ready
