The ASUS EN7900GT TOP is really in the top when it comes to performance of 7900GT graphics cards. With its ability to overclock by default and making it stable with all boards is not a easy task. ASUS has done it with this TOP edition of the 7900GT. In our performance tests, we see that the card does perform well. Comparing it to the 1900GT (def clk), it seems to match in score for 3DMark06. When it comes to games, the 7900GT TOP shows its might against the 1900GT card. In fact, we noticed that the difference is negligible when higher resolutions were used with higher AA and AF settings as indicated in the benchmarks. The packaging of the ASUS EN7900GT TOP is very complete with games, cables, drivers etc. As the package box is quite big, it is not difficult to miss it from the shelves. We tested the purevideo function of the card and it does help in reducing the CPU load during playback of our own H.264 AVC clip. Overall, the card performs as rated and it is proven and tested to run at the clk speed which gives us better performance than the normal 7900GT cards out there.
