Samsung Q1 comes with SRS Surround XT sound. Within Windows Tablet PC edition, you can enable it to give you a surround effect for movie playback using SRS and TruBass.

As Q1 is a UMPC just like the Tablet PC, entry of text can be made using various methods. One method is to use the KEYBOARD built in and use the stylus to key in character by character. Alternatively, you can use the script method where you write on to the screen just like what you would normally do for a PDA.

Another method is to use the pre install application in the Q1. This application makes use of the of touch screen concept. You can use your fingers and click on the characters on the letters to key in. I find it rather difficult to type since the characters are split across the screen. It takes some time to get used to such an interface.
