Firstly, you would need to buy the DSS-25 that will work for K700i. As for other models, you could use DSS-25 or the USB cable provided in the package.

We made a check on the current firmware before we flash. To check, move the joystick and press the star key in this sequence *>*<<*<*

Next, let the system detect the USB device and install the necessary USB drivers for it.

Activate the update software and you will see the following screen shots.

Click Start to begin

Click on the connection type icon. For K700i, it uses the connector type shown on the right.

Turn off the phone, remove SIM and replace the battery. Attach the phone to the DSS-25.

Detection begins. If detection fails, it will ask you to try.
