Benchmarks

CPU FSB is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the CPU FSB and documented it as below in 4 different boards and noticed the CPU CLK. As it is a Conroe X6800, the default FSB is rated at 266MHz. As shown below, the three boards has set its default clk quite differently. The ASRock Conroe1333-DVI/H runs at 267.9 while the Jetway 965GDAG runs at 266.5, Gigabyte GA-945G-S3 at 268 and ASRock ConRoe945G-DVI at 265.8. The ASRock 1333-D667 is similar to the Conroe945G-DVI and runs at a default of 265.8MHz.

In the following tests, other than the ASRock 4Core1333-FullHD and Jetway 965GDAG are configured to run at DDR2-800, the 4 other boards are configured to run at CAS 3, 3-3-8, 1T SYNC DDR2-533 using a X6800 processor.

Observing the results on the ASRock 4Core1333-FullHD which runs at a default of 266.1MHz, it scored 5347/5342. It seems to have more bandwidth to handle the taxing processing.
