Benchmarks

CPU FSB is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the CPU FSB of the various boards with a QX6700 processor installed no these boards. On our test board, the rated FSB is at 267MHz. Some of the high end boards we see actually exceeds the normal 266.6MHz by 1MHz. Will this give them an edge in performance. What about the rest which runs default at 266.7MHz?

From the SiSoft Sandra XI benchmark, we can see the memory benchmark results. The ASRock 4Core1333-ViiV based on the Intel 965P chipset gave a similar reading to the Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 mainboard. The P35 chipset mainboard gave a higher score because it runs the memory at DDR2-1066 instead of DDR2-800 on the 965p chipset boards. Will the ASRock be able to go head to head with the P35?
