The full ATX sized mainboard is finished in the traditional Gigabyte's blue. From the left of the mainboard, we can see that there are 3 PCI slots, 3 PCIe X1 and 1 full length PCIe x16 slot on board. The centre of the mainboard is the P35 North bridge which is attached with the huge passively cooled heatsink. On its right is the CPU socket surrounded by the mosfets and capacitors. Behind the PCI slots is the Ite I/O controller. The Audio codec and GbE controller are just behind the PCIex1 slots.

At the left hand corner of the mainboard, we can see the yellow coloured connectors for USB brackets. The purplish SATA and  Green IDE slot and two purple SATA2 is supported by the seperate chipset which supposedly a Jmicron JMB363. The orange SATA II ports are controlled by ICH9R south bridge allowing SATAII RAID 0,1,0+1,5.

On the bottom right of the PCB, we can see the coloured dimm slots. There are 2 green DIMM slots for DDR3 and 4 dimm slots (Red+yellow) are meant for the traditional DDR2. Noticed that the board do not require a peddle card to switch between the support of DDR2 and DDR3. The superior engineering team at Gigabyte is able to do just that.

At the back panel of the board is the PS2 mouse/keyboard, ,COM1, LPT1, S/PDIF connectors, 8 ch audio, GbE port, 1394 port, 4 USB ports.
