CineBench 10 benchmarked on AMD Phenom II X4 940 running on ASRock AOD790GX/128M against QX9770 and Core i7 940

CineBench 10 Benchmarked and compared with QX9770 and Core i7 940

In this test, the 3GHz processor is paired up with a ATi Radeon HD 4850 graphics card. The system used 2x1GB DDR2-1066 memory running at CAS 5, 7-7-24, 2T. The BIOS used is 1.25. The processor runs at 15x200Mhz =3GHz.

Cinebench 10 tests for multicore processor speed up for rendering. In this test, the Phenom II X4 940 scored 2564 (1 CPU), 9676 (X CPU), multiprocessor speed up 3.65x and openGL at 4927.

It is not surprising that AMD is still unable to keep up when it comes to data crunching. If you one that does a lot of media processor and rendering, the Phenom II X4 is still a bit behind.
