Benchmarks - 3Dmark2005/3DMark2006

As the board only supports a single PCIex16 slot. we tested it with a 4850 graphics card and scored 18846 using ATI Catalyst 8.6+patch. The score of 18846 is higher than is very close to the P43R1600Twins-WiFi we tested before. If you noticed, these 2 P43 boards seems to be outperforming the P45 boards usnig the same processor. Strange isn't it.

The ASRock P45XE-WiFiN scored 18827, just 50 points behind ASRock P45R2000-WiFi which scored 18895. Looks like the DDR3 on P45R2000-WiFi does play an important part in pushing up the results. It is kind of interesting to observe that the ASRock boards are all doing very well against the ECS and Gigabyte

Let's take a look at CrossFire results. ASRock P45R2000-WiFi scored 21684, ECS P45T-A scored 21083 while Gigabyte GA-EP45 Extreme scored 21433. The ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi scored 21530. The ASRock P45XE-WiFi took the crown with a score of 21801.

From the score line, we can see that the difference seems to be substantial. Will this impact other scores in the other tests. Let's see.

In 3Dmark06, single card performance of ASRock P43DE is 13097. This score is slightly lower than that of the ASRock P43R1600Twins-WiFi but is still one of the better scores among the boards tested.

In 3DMark vantage, the score for the Performance is 7091. The ASRock P43R1600Twins-Wifi scored 7115 which is better. In fact, comparing it with other boards, the score is not very far away from the rest.
