ASRock P45R2000-WiFi Intel P45 chipset mainboard review - Introduction
Introduction
Last week, we reviewed the ASRock P43 board. Today, we take a
close look at another top notch spec board from ASRock, the P45R2000-WiFi. The ASRock P45R2000-WiFi is a board based on Intel P45+ICH10R
chipsets. It supports the LGA 775 for Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme / Core™ 2 Quad /
Core™ 2 Duo / Pentium® Dual Core / Celeron®, supporting Penryn Quad Core
Yorkfield and Dual Core Wolfdale processors and compatible with
FSB2000*/1600/1333/1066/800 MHz, Hyper-Threading Technology, Untied Overclocking
Technology,EM64T CPU
This board also feature a Dual GbE port and Wireless LAN
ASRock WiFi-802.11g module with 54Mbps IEEE 802.11g / 11Mbps IEEE 802.11b. It
also supports Software Access Point mode (AP mode) and Station mode
(Infrastructure mode and Ad-hoc mode). For audio, it uses ALC890B for 7.1 CH
Windows® Vista™ Premium Level HD Audio with Content Protection and have a
DAC with 110dB dynamic range (ALC890 Audio Codec)
The packaging is pretty simple, it comes with a CDROM/MANUAL, 4 SATA cables, 1
IDE cable.
