Sandra XII Benchmarks
In this test, we checked out the difference between the 5 boards, the ASUS P5Q-E, ASUS Striker II Extreme, Gigabyte P35T-DQ6, ASRock Penryn1600SLI-110dB and ASRock Penryn1600SLIX3-WIFI. The boards are attached with a Vvikoo 9600GT Turbo graphics card factory clocked at 700/1000. CPU used is a QX9770 running at 8x400. Using CPU-Z, we checked the CPU Clk, the ASUS P5Q-E runs at 400.0 exactly. The ASUS Striker II Extreme clocks at 400.00MHz, ASRock Penryn1600SLIX3-WIFI runs at 400.1 , the ASRock penryn 1600SLI-110dB at 400.1 and Gigabyte P35 board runs at 400.0. The ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi runs at 400.0MHz too. Both the ASUS Striker II Extreme and Gigabyte P35T-DQ6 are paired up with DDR3-1066 with memory running at a ratio of 3:4, giving it a base clk of 533MHz (DDR2-1066), running in ASync to the CPU at 400MHz, ram timings at CAS 7,7,7,20-2T. On both ASRock boards, the memory is running in SYNC with the CPU at 400MHz (DDR2-800). The ram timings used on the ASRock was CAS 5,5,5,15-2T. The ASUS P5Q-E is paired up with the same pair of ram running DDR2-1066 at CAS 5,7,7,24-2T. As for the ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi, it is tested twice, with Corsair DDR2-1066 memory (which runs at DDR2-960@ CAS5,7,7,24,2T) and Kingston DDR3-1800 memory running at DDR3-1600 at CAS 7,7,7,24,2T. From the chart below, we can see that the ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi seems to give an amazing score in memory bandwidth at 8382/8310, this is probably due to our running of DDR3@ DDR3-1600 C7,7,7,24,2T. When paired up with DDR2 modules, it scored 7705/7717 which is quite similar to the scores of the Penryn1600SLI-110dB. In terms of Arithmetic Dhrystone and Whetstone calculations, it seems to do pretty well against the 65i and p35 boards. In terms on multimedia, it lost to the NForce chipsets mainboards.
