This full ATX mainboard comes with 1PCIe x1, 3 PCI and 2 full length PCIe x16 slots. Both PCIe x16 can be paired up to run in CrossFire.  Behind the PCI / PCIe slot are the audio codec, GbE and I/O controller chipsets. The 24+4 pin power connectors are right behind the CPU and north bridge. The 2 +SATA connector at the rear is for connecting to the eSATA port by chaining it up with the orange SATA port at the bottom left of the mainboard.

At the bottom corner of the board, we can see the BIOS, front panel 1394 (red) and USB connector (blue). Below the CMOS battery is 6 SATAII ports managed by the ICH 9R south bridge. The VIA VT6308S 1394 controller sits right below the 3 PCI slot.

Moving towards the centre of the board is the North bridge X48 that supports the FSB1600 CPU. There are 4 DDR3 slots and 2 DDR2 slots on board which can be used exclusively. It supports up to 4GB DDR2-1066 and 8GB DDR3-1600 modules.

The back panel consists of PS/2 mouse/keyboard, Coaxial and Digital S/PDIF, eSATA, 4 USB, 1 GbE, 1 1394 and 7.1 ch audio ports and 2 eSATA ports
