to ECS G45T-M2 Inlel G45+ICH10 mainboard
Introduction
A few weeks ago, we took a look at the Gigabyte G45 solution. Today, we take a
look at a less sophisticated, down to earth board from ECS based on the
same chipset - Intel G45 with ICHR10
The ECS G45T-M2 features Intel® G45 and ICH10 chipsets, by supporting FSB1333
and DDR2 800 with 4 DIMMs, providing great performance. Moreover, G45T-M2
capable graphics integrates Intel® GMA X4500HD graphic engine, supports superior
HD playback and Vista Premium Eligible with DX10 expansion. Furthermore, G45T-M2
also provides ultimate graphics performance through PCI-E Gen2.0 x16 interface
and DVI port, upgrades your visual experience. G45T-M2 comes packaged with a
DVI-HDMI converter too for those who intend to use the board as the centre of
their multimedia experience.
The board supports LGA775 socket for latest Intel Yorkfield/ Wolfdale/ Core 2
Quad/Core 2 Duo / Pentium Dual-core (E21xx series)/Celeron Dual Core/ Celeron
4xx processors FSB 1333/1066/800 MHz. It supports Dual-channel DDR2 memory
architecture 4 x 240-pin DDR2 DIMM socket support up to 16GB. Support DDR2
800/667 DDR2 SDRAM
The Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD ( GMA X4500HD ) supports
DX10 and offers a Max Dynamic Video Memory : 1759MB (Vista) / 1GB (WinXP). It is
able to decode AVC, H.264 at very low CPU utilisation rates.
The board comes with 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, 1 x PCI Express x1 slot, 2 x PCI
slots. For storage, it has 6 SATA II ports supported by ICH10. There is no IDE
port on the mainboard. The audio uses RealTek ALC888VC 8ch High Definition audio
CODEC and Gigabit LAN uses RealTek 8111C GigaLAN controller.
