Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 resembles the X38 series. With 2 PCI, 3 PCIe x1 and 2 PCIe x16 slots, this board supports CrossFire technology in full speed. Behind the 2 PCIe gen 2 slot are the ALC889A audio codec and 2 PCIe based Realtek 8111B GbE controller. Right net to the first blue PCIe x16 slot near the south bridge is the TI 1394A controller chip.

Over to the right is the 12 phase power. The heatpipe covered the mosfets, north bridge X48 and South bridge ICH9R.

At the bottom corner of the board are 6 SATAII with RAID 0,1,0+1,5, JBOD support by ICH9R. To it's right is the Jmicron JMB363 supporting one IDE and 2 SATA II ports. To the right, we can see 4 DDR3 slots supporting up to DDR3-1900.

The back panel consists of PS/2 Keyboard+mouse ports, SPDIF Coaxial + Digital out. 1394, 2GbE, 6 USB, 2 GbE and 7.1 ch audio ports.
