Benchmarks
Our
test setup consists of a piece of Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6, a Intel QX9770
processor, a NV 9600GT graphics card and a 750W Gigabyte Odin PSU. The tests are
done on the Samsung DDR3-1066 modules which were set to run in DDR3-1333 CAS 8
mode while the Kingston modules run in CAS 9, DDR3-1600. This setting is based
on the ASync multiplier of 3.33x and 4x for the Samsung and Kingston modules
respectively.
To prevent any skewed results due to overclocking, all speed
enhancements in the BIOS are set to Disabled.
