What cpu and chipsets are found inside the
MSI Wind
The screen shot below shows that the Atom processor is running
Hyperthreading. The CPU on board is a ATOM N270 running at 1.60GHz. On
the unit itself is a 74GB Western Digital HDD instead of SSD used on the ASUS
Eee PC 900. There is also a built in modem, WiFi, Realtek LAN, audio, USB etc.
The following screen shot gives you an idea of what chipset the MSI
Wind runs on. The chipset is the Intel 945GME chipset A3 stepping and the
CPU is Intel ATOM (Silverthrone) 45nm running at 1.013v. It clocks at 133MHz
(533Mhz) with a multiplier of 6x.
The memory on board is a single DDR2 1GB module running at Cas
4,4,4,12,2T
