The SGH-U900 camera mode works similarly to the G800 we reviewed
before. Active the camera by sliding up the camera and use it in a horizontal
manner.
On the Touch Window itself, you can set flash light on/off, adjust
environment exposure, timer and macro mode.
On the top of the screen are options that you can set. you can set
the phone to camera, scene or camcorder mode. Next, you can set the camera to
take single, multi, mosaic, frame shot or panorama shot. For best resolution,
you can set the resolution to 256x1920, other options include 2048x1536,
1600x1200, 1280x960, and 640x480.
Next on the option is Macro on/off, flash on/off, timer off. 3-5-10
secs. It is followed on Face detection on/off, AWB (Auto, Daylight,
Incandescent, Fluorescent, cloudy), effects ( Grey, Sepia, negative, Antique and
watercolour). Under settings, you can set contrast/saturation, anti shake, wide
dynamic range and Shutter sound. Next, you can set Photo quality to High,
Normal, Economy. ISO can be set from ISO 50 to 400. Other settings include
auto focus, single shot (take and save) and exposure metering (normal, spot,
centre-weighted). Next is for settings for video clips, it can be high, normal
or economy. Video format can be in Mp4 or 3GP.
Photos are rescaled to 640x480
