DOOM 3

In DOOM3, we take a look at the performance of this card using Forceware 169.25. As there is a bug in Force 169.25 for 4xAF mode, we leave out the 4XAF results in the comparison chart. We ran the card at 1600x1200 and used the graphics driver to set the AA/AF correspondingly. (demo1 ran 3 times).

Below are the results :

The 8800GTS definitely churns out more frame rates as compared to the default clocked 8800GT. We get very close to the performance levels of a 8800GTS when we overclock our Vvikoo 8800GT-Max to 780/950 with a score of 192.7 fps. The Vvikoo 8800GT-Max is definitely at a disadvantage when we compare it to the ECS 8800GT-MX as it is factory overclocked.
