Benchmarks - 3Dmark2006/3DMark Vantage

As the board supports up to 4 full length PCIe 2.0 slots, we are able to test the board in various combinations of Radeon HD 4850 graphics cards. In the following tests, we run the same benchmark in single, dual, tri and quad CrossFire modes of 4 pieces of Radeon HD 4850 using catalyst 8.12 Hotfix.

We first enable the CrossFire with Catalyst 8.12 +HotFix. With the pull down menu, we can choose how many cards we want to run in Crossfire, be it 2, 3 or 4. To disable CrossFire just uncheck the checkbox.

With 3Dmark06, the score scales up from a mere 13421 all the way to 22081. The score seems to peak at 22000 range as it won't go beyond that score.

CrossFire gave it a jump of 53% from single card to CrossFire (2x) and 64% from single card to quad card configuration. The difference between QUad and 3 card seems to be minute.

The more interesting results would be 3Dmark Vantage. From 7322 marks to 12848 to 16913 and finally 18626 for performance setting test of 3Dmark Vantage. A 75% increase in performance happens when Dual Card CrossFire is enabled. With 3 card, the increase is 130%. With Quad Cards, the improvement is over 154%.
