AMD Radeon HD 4890 graphics card Benchmarks
3DMark06 With 3DMark06, the benchmark is first tested at it's default core and memory speed with a AM3 X3 710 processor running on the ASRock A780GMH/128M Mainboard. The score line shows a pretty good score of 13296. With a similarly configured system running the ASUS EAH4870X2 TOP, it scored 14459 (8% faster). Looks like the single core 4890 card isn't that bad after all. With the card overclocked to 1GHz/1.1GHz (with GPU voltage bumped up to 1.4v), the card scored 13408 marks. With 16xAF+8xAA applied, the score goes down to 12574.
The difference in scores for the card is quite substantial in this test. At default, it scored 8751. when we o/c it to 1GHz/1.1GHz, it shot up to 9052, a 3% improvement. When 16xAF+8xAA is applied, the score dipped to 7619. Using the same board with the ASUS EAH4870X2, we scored P10465 for this test (19% faster than the Radeon HD 4890).
