Speed test results

To ensure that the UMR doesn't eat up a lot of bandwidth, we ran the speedtest.net test on our 2mbps/512kbps broadband internet. Due to the physical limitation of the E960, the maximum uplink speed will be restricted to 384kbps.

Conclusion

Dovado UMR is something that most USB HSPA device's saviour. With the Dovado UMR, you can now share out your mobile broadband as and when necessary. With the SMS features built in, you will be notified of the excess usage of data by SMS.

Use the DynDNS and you are now accessible with a DNS name. Open the necessary ports for your network. If that is too troublesome, you can always enable the uPNP.

Try out the TellStick and have total control of your home. You can now remotely control your lightings via SMS! That was like sci -i story but it is now a reality with Dovado UMR and TellStick.
