Gigabyte P35-DQ6 o/c to 525Mhz on AIR
Gigabyte P35-DQ6 o/c to 525Mhz on AIR cooling. Using the E6300 processor, the board is o/c to 525 x 6. The voltage levels are increased slightly with CPU at 1.35v, DIMM at 2.1v, the rest at defaults. DDR2 is operating at speed of ~ DDR2-1000 at CAS 5, 7-7-20.
See screen capture below for more information.

Not really... I've had 16 secont SuperPi runs out of a 2MB Core 2 part on air. FSB doesn't really influence those scores very much; cache and memory timings are more important.

The SuperPi time is nothing compared to the 525Mhz FSB, tough WR is 647.83Mhz It looks to me, that with the right CPU, the right cooling and perhaps cold air like -6°C or so could be easily possible to beat WR with THAT mobo
Congratulations!

Yup! I did mean the 525FSB OOB is scary-> I wonder what "tweaked" (bus) clocks would look like....

To use DDR2 RAM @ 1048MHz 1:1 with an e6300 @ 3.14GHz has got to give pretty good all round performance. The new desktop Intel CPU's run at 333MHz and the Xeon's @ 400MHz - so you're still ahead!
