AMD RV670 vs NVIDIA 8800GT 3Dmark06 benchmarks results

As AMD RV670 (Radeon HD2950) and NVIDIA's 8800GT (G92) are scheduled to be released in late October / early November, comparison results of both are leaked on the net.

According to a Taiwanese forum, a ref G92 card scores around 10800 in 3Dmark06 while a AMD RV670 scores 11400. The RV670 is ahead by 550-600 points. The benchmarks are done using a high end Core 2 processor. We assume the source is from theinq.
