Exclamation ASRock introduces AGP+PCIe ALiveDual-eSATA2 Phenom X4 board based on NVIDIA NF3/ULi M1695 chipset

Don't be shocked, ASRock always gives us surprises. Do you still remember the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 that uses the ULi M1567/1695 chipset pair supporting the Socket 939 with AGP and PCI Express ?

ASRock now launches the first board that supports Phenom X4/X4 and AM2 CPU using the M1695 and NF3 250 chipset. Now the NF3 250 chipset. is supplied as the north bridge that supports the AGP while the ULi M1695 remains as the tunneling chipset which provides the PCI Express lanes.

The board has a WiFi header which supports WiFi+AP function with ASRock Wifi-802.11g or WiFi-802.11n module, a easy to use Wireless LAN Adaptor. These modules will be announced later.

ASRock has created the first Phenom compatible board that supports both AGP and PCIe graphics card. Not only that, it comes with GbE, eSATA2, HDA etc. It is the Alibaba board for Phenom - basically it supports anything you could have thought of. So you have a reason to stay put with your favourite AGP card and upgrade to Phenom X4
