According to sources from friends in the industry, the RS780 does keep up it's promise. The ETA shall be Jan 2008.

In 3DMark06, a single X2400 on the board will give a score of 2000. When Hybrid CrossFire is enabled, the onboard RS780 integrated graphics boosted the overall performance by almost 1.7x, reaching a high of 3420.

On the other hand, NVIDIA's MCP78 will be delayed till March 2008. Looks like a repeat of ATi RS690 (AMD 690G) vs NV 7050-630a is going to happen again in 2008.

Is not score 2000 points in 3DMark 2006 too small?

To me it seems small... tought I have no clue how my againg 6800GS score there
