NVIDIA MCP72 Hybrid SLI improves graphical performance by 5% to 40%

Boards based on MCP72 will arrive in November this year. That is 2 mths ahead of AMD's equivalent chipset, the RS780. The MCP72 supports PCIe 2.0, HT3 for AMD Phenom processor. One of the more interesting feature is the hybrid SLI. Hybrid SLI allows another graphics card to run in SLI mode with the on board integrated graphics.

Sources indicates that graphics performance levels of MCP72, when paired up with a low end card gets a boost of up to 40% when paired up with a low-mid range card. With a high end graphics NVIDIA card, performance will improve by only ~ 5%.
