The 8800GT graphics card is PCIe 2.0 compliant and come with a core clk of 600MHz and memory will be at 1800MHz. Shader clk is expected to be running at 1.2GHZ (to be finalised). The memory width is at 256 bits. There will be two models, one with 256M and another at 512M. The card will replace the 8800GTS-320. This card supports SLI 2.0 which is able to run in a tri card SLI setup. It has DVI-I, TV out and Display Port (requires additional chipset). and Purevideo 2 support.
8800GT is to fit the gap in between the 8600GTS and 8800GTS. Thus the performance levels should be slightly better than 8800GTX-320MX. It will also compete head to head with AMD's RV670.
