Price slash of AMD Phenom processors in Jan

According to information gathered, AMD will slash their CPU prices in this week. The new pricing will be a few to tens dollars of difference.

The Phenom 9500 will dipped by around $40 USD while a new Phenom 9600 Black edition (no multiplier lock) will be introduced.

The Black edition X2 6400+ and X2 5000+ drops by 20 and 30 dollars respectively.

There will also be a new X2 5400+ 64W processor in Q1 2008.
