AMD to announce HD 3450 and HD 3470 at CES

Although AMD will officially announce the Radeon HD 3450 and Radeon HD 3470 on 23 Jan, they intend to give visitors a glimpse of their new product at CES.

The Radeon HD 3470 and 3450 uses GPU RV620 Pro and RV620 LE. Both are 55nm manufactured by TSMC. It has 1.81 million transistors and has 40 stream processors. It supports DX10.1, SM4.1, UVD, Powerplay. It is a PCI Express 2.0 card. There will also be AGP variants of the HD 3450 and 3470 card in the future.

Radeon HD 3470, 3450 GPU's clk speed is 800MHz and 600Mhz respectively. The cards will have 256MB of GDDR3. Memory interface is at 64 bits. The Radeon HD 3470 will use 950 MHz GDDR3 whereas Radeon HD 3450 will use 500 MHz GDDR2.
