Gigabyte issues short statement of report on Financial times about ASUS

If you have read our news in the past week. We quoted that a online media posted slides comparing Gigabyte's DES and ASUS's EPU. ASUS has posted press releases 1 and 2 threatening legal action for those who starts and spread the information.

Today, a user sent me a piece of news in Chinese, posted on 19 May on the TSE. The announcement is titled "說明97/5/17工商時報A2版報導" - a clarifiication of the article posted on the daily 工商時報 page A2.

On point 5, "公司對該等報導或提供訊息之說明:
技嘉子公司技嘉聯合針對日前提及華碩產品技術，在用詞上有欠週全，造成
華碩電腦公司有所誤解，已擬具公開聲明致歉。"

Gigabyte United also made this point that they regret the inappropriate description of ASUS's technology resulting in misunderstandings.
