ASUS will launch 3 variants of Eee PC based on Intel Atom processor - Eee PC 901, 1000 and 1000H.
Eee PC 901
The first is the 8.9", it will come preloaded with windows XP Home or GNU Linux. It will have 12 GB SSD or 20GB SSD (LINUX). It is equiped with Intel ATOm processor (1.6GHZ ?), 802.11n, bluetooth, 1GB (DDR2), 1.3 mpixel camera.
The audio is dolby sound room certified with stereo speakers and microphone built in.
It comes with a 6 cell battery that can last 4.2 to 7.8 hrs of usage. It will weigh 1.1kg and will retail at nearly NT 17,000. It will go on sale from 3rd June onwards.
Eee PC 1000 and Eee PC 1000H
The other 2 models are Eee PC 1000 and Eee PC 1000H. Both have a 10" or 10.2" screen. Eee PC 1000 wil come equipped wiht GNU LINUX with 40 GB SSD while the Eee PC 1000H will come with 80GB HDD with Windows XP Home preloaded.
The rest of the specs are the same, that includes Intel Atom processor, 802.11n, 2GB (DDR2), 1.3 mpixel camera, Stereo audio (Dolby Room for EeePC 1000H).
Both uses 6 cell battery, the Eee PC 1000 can last 4.2 - 7.5 hrs while the Eee PC 1000H can last 3.2 to 7 hrs.
Eee PC 1000 weighs 1.33kg and has a suggested retali price of NT$19,988. It will be available at end of June.
Eee PC 1000H weighs 1.45kg and will retail at NT$18,988. It will be available from 13 June 2008.

Engadget editor is presently at the press conference and waiting for Asus to release more details on the new Eee PCs 901 and 1000. They managed to get there early and got the following information :
1. 6-cell battery provides 7.5 hr for Eee PC 1000, 7 hr for 1000H and 7.8 hr for 901.
2. The Eee PC 1000H comes with a hard drive instead of an SSD.
3. Fully equipped with 802.11n and Bluetooth.
