NVIDIA rumoured to drop price of GTX 260 to $399 to fight AMD Radeon HD 4870

As Radeon HD 4870 can beat the GTX 260 in some benchmarks, NVIDIA has to counter the AMD camp. It is rumoured that NVIDIA GTX 260 which was planned for $449 will drop it's price by $50 to $399.

On the other hand, Radeon HD 4850 will retail for $249 and Radeon HD 4870 will be priced at $349.
