ASUS P5N7A-VM based on MCP7A board goes on sale

The long delayed MCP7A chipset has surfaced. The first board that uses it is the ASUS P5N7A-VM. It is already on sale at a number of e retailers in Europe. The board is priced at 90 Euros.

This board ASUS P5N7A-VM is a mATX board and is based on the chipset MCP7A or also known as GeForce 9300/nForce 730i. It supports Intel LGA7 775 processor, 4 DIMMs DDR2 slots, PCIe x16 slot. It supports DVI, D-SUB and HDMI output. It also incorporates FireWire、eSATA、7.1 HD Audio and embedded GPU.

Looks like NVIDIA should have just skipped the chipset and made one for the LGA1366 in time for Nehalem
