Default Gentoo w/ 8KDA3+

I'm running Gentoo stable (x86 not amd64 yet) on my 8KDA3+ (w/ Sempron 3300+) and the only problem was with the nForce3 250GB gigabit ethernet losing about 30% of incoming packets, but this happens under Windows XP too. Couldn't find a solution that worked under either OS so in went the PCI network card (any ideas anyone?).

Moved from being a long-time Slacker (www.slackware.com) to Gentoo about 9 months ago and have never looked back. Portage rocks!

All the drivers for the 8KDA3+ were open source (including r200 DRI drivers for my long-in-the-tooth Radeon 8500) and everything on the board is supported (apart from the hardware firewall).

loophole.
