I bet if you post that in the Asrock AMD section, someone will reply. I think that forum gets more hits than any other.

By my calculations, that's a 8.5 multi, is that right?

AMD Athlon X2 5000+ 2.2GHz 45nm (AM2+ rather than AM2).

These things are Denebs with 2 cores locked. Using Jetway HA08 Combo with Crucial Value DDR2 PC6400 (2x2GB). I've hit 3.3 GHz (300x11) Prime Blend 8 hour stable @ Quad core. Just testing in day-to-day usage at the moment. RAM @ 3:4 (and manually set DDR2-800 timings as per manufacturer's specification) or 1:1 with a bit less voltage.

Please note that CPUz reports the CPU as Phenom FX-5000 when unlocked. Cache is same as a Phenom II. Mine has ropey cache on CPU0 and needed quite a bit of tweaking to get stable. Still reports correctable cache hierarchy errors in Windows Event viewer but otherwise seems OK.

To perform the unlock you need a capable motherboard and BIOS. Just the 50% overclock wouldn't have been bad for the price even without the Quad Core unlock though.

Anyway a few benchmark scores:
3DMark06: 13900 (approx) with stock HD4850
SuperPi 1M: 21.885 s
Fritz: 7284

Great report Uriel.

My experience when I switched from a 3.4 two core to a 3.2 Quad resulted in a better 3DMark06 score, but slower in SuperPi 1M. I have not been able to break the 15 second barrier. My best with the quad has been low 16 ish.
My old Athlon on my Asrock board when at 2.85 gig is still my best score at 15.38. I think if you tweak the memory, you will lower your time even if it means dropping the HTT. I had my Athlon @ 3 gig, but everything else suffered.
