Well like you say, the P5B has been proven, which is what I'm running very happily now. However, if you have the money you could go for the P5K board, simply because it seems to have higher thresholds, such as the FSB range (up to 650 on the P5B, and 800 on the P5K), and it also has as many, if not more features than the P5B. All of this is rated by it's potential to overclock. If you want a good, stable board with plenty of features, the P5B will save you money.
