ASRock Vision 3D-BD, will u get one?

Well that is a little bit disappointing :-/

Reasons:
* For the CPU: No TurboBoost and no hw AES encryption because of the core i3 processor - the processor is also a little bit slower than we could expect if it was a core i5 or core i7 processor since it seems that all normal mobile versions of the Core i3/5/7 are Arrandales they should be somewhat comparable regarding their frequency vs speed.
Hopefully Intel will start dropping their prices on mobile processors as well as it happened this Monday with some of their normal desktop CPUs - from Fudzilla:

* Only 1(!) USB 3 socket is stated in the specs - but it must be a mistake hopefully. Earlier more USB 3 sockets were advertised (as I recall from the youtube video with Chris from ASRock.) If you scroll down the the two pages with specs on the ASRock page the images show 2x USB 3 sockets on the front of the htpc as well. So I hope the specs are wrong and not the images.

* Personally rather skip Windows 7 and get a quicker/better processor. (Since I'm going to run Linux on it anyway :-) )

It seems ASRock has updated the specs so it is now an Intel Core i3 370M processor. The link you'll be able to find earlier in this thread by going to avsforum.com.
That is slightly better. It would still have been nice with e.g. the Core i5 520M CPU instead as core i5 was mentioned back in May (e.g. Turbo Boost would be nice.)
What matters in the end is however the price.

Nahhh, Its still impossible to buy the system. Some shops say we still have to wait for another 3 or 4 weeks. Has Asrocks found some problems?
