Default Asrock Z87M Extreme4 bios 1.60 & Pentium G3258
Hello,

Hope you can help with this question: I just received new Asrock Z87M Extreme4 mobo and I noticed the bios chip is marked with 1.60 sticker.
Is it possible to boot with Pentium G3258 and update the bios?
Or do I need "old" Haswell for bios update?

If the bios is original (like what the sticker says), you have to update it first using a supported cpu. Afterwards, no problems.
