Default Z97M Pro4 RIAD issue

Hi all,

I've installed windows 7 and all drivers and setup my Z97M Pro4 system on a 250GB SSD drive, and all is working fine.

Next step is to move over my RAIDed data drives from my old machine. I enabled RAID in the motherboard and now windows bluescreens with a stop 7b error. I've done a boot log and the iastorf.sys is listed, which is the intel storage controller RAID driver, so I'm not sure what to do now.

The only option I can think of is to reinstall Windows with RAID enabled, which would be a complete PITA as I've only just completed installing it!

Any ideas on how to sort this out much appreciated.

Typically within 2 minutes of posting, I found the answer.

It was indeed the incorrect drivers starting up, so using the AHCI and not RAID.

Yep, ask the question and then you stumble upon the answer. Been there, done that.
