Default Oh dear... BIOS help.

After my last experience with an Abit mobo, which incidentally was also my last experience with an nVidia chipset, I swore I'd never have an Abit board again, and also never another board with an NVidia chipset!

But... You guessed it, I've ended up with another Abit mobo with an nForce chipset!

The main justification for this is to grab another 8800GTS 512 and nearly double my F@H output...

Anyway, since Abit appear to have died, along with their website (I guess that wasn't just a rumour, after all...) does anybody have any idea where I can get hold of a copy of the latest BIOS for an IN9-32X Max?

Cheers.

Hey! They're alive again now!

They need to shoot their server techie!

Hmm, that's good news... The board even supports 45nm quads, unlike many reference 680i boards. Looks like I might have got myself a bargain, assuming it doesn't have all the BIOS bugs my FP-IN9 had...

And don't worry, I'll keep my eye on it. I'm just as distrusting of nVidia chipsets as you

Although I do recall that the memory controller on C55 is much better than anything Intel have come up with for DDR2, I was getting consistently lower latency and higher bandwidth at the same settings on my old 650i board vs. the 965 and P35 boards I've had since.
