I believe it's mostly new product lines are usually more expensive whereas old/obsolete product lines are cheap.

Speakers like Logitech's are higher (import/sales tax I believe) and probably newer gfx cards like the ATI R300 family and the newer nvidia cards.

You can always get updated price lists from dealers in Lowyat by visiting lowyat.net (not affiliated with Low Yat Plaza)

1 USD = RM 3.8~4.0 (Malaysian Ringgit)

oops. don't hang around here much so didn't notice the post.

I can't tell much about camera phones since i'm not a big fan of those stuff, but imo, it looks like Sony Ericsson phones are very popular now.

I belief the most popular phone here now is T610. See some many ppl using it. Might bcoz is reasonable cheap now.
Around RM880+ for T-Choice (Original Distr.) and RM740 for AP (eg. T-Mobile)

1 USD = 3.8 RM
it is a fixed rate to USD.
