I'm eagerly awaiting HD over Air.
Antennas are available now. Hoping this will become mainstream...
The only silver component under my 53" LCD is a Comcast HD STB. It's the only color they have... :(

It'll do all the TIVO stuff...Service comes with all the pay-per-view, on demand movies, some free on demand programming, HD 5.1 audio.
It won't do 1080p only 1080i...I'm getting almost 10 channels in 720p or better.
I have a cheap DVD player, an OLD LaserDisk player and the Sony receiver.
5.1, 50W/ch, and a separate 200W powered sub. It actually does a good "simulated" 5.1
; )

TIVO. Is it those kind of scheduled recording feature?
We have 3 channels of HD in 5.1. They're from VOOM HD networks (vooohd.com), VOOM HD, Equator HD and SLING HD . All comes in 1080i using a modem/ iptv set top box to decode.
Telephone lines aren't perfect and i get freezes occasionally for 5 secs. It is irritating.
