Hey, guys, anyone even heard about Abit KD7-G OCP mod?
(Over Current Protection)
I got the mobo as nice steady folder, however it's FSB maxing out at 166MHz (chipset for 2x512MB limitation) and 166x14 is only 2324Mhz, while 166x15 is nice 2490MHz, witch I like to use.
However the APX-M 2500+ need 1.850Vcore for 2500Mhz, and the mobo can't deliver it steadily. It need the OCP mod desperately. The IO seems similar as on the Epox 8RDA+ (lifting pin 16 on the IRU3055, IIRC, cause the OCP mod -

Anyone?
I want 2500Mhz, tough, but I did not yet figured, how to made a OCP mod on the mobo. My mobile need 1.850Vcore, but stable and under load the Abit KD7-G always fails to deliver it... :( Increasing the voltage helping only a little bit, about 1.950 is the most stable, and then, up to 2.1Vcore is the stability under load only lower - it clearly indicate the OCP mod is need in order to get 2500Mhz stable ;)
I already added a huge heatsink on the mosfets, but no help :(
