Talking M1 100Mbps Fibre + WD My Net N900 Central 2TB router


A major improvement in the uplink speed after I convert it to the WD router. Previously the uplink speed was 40Mbps+, it has now risen to close to 80Mbps!

The downlink speed is around 92Mbps.

Test was done with direct connection to the router with router connected to the Fibre ONT.

Default WIFI-N 5GHz band speedtest results
Using WiFi-N on 5GHz band, the Sony phone is just 2m away from the router, this speed is achieved. The internet connection is a 100Mbps Fibre on M1.
