Default MEMORY WORRY ASROCK M3A770DE

I JUST BOUGHT ASROCK M3A770DE AND THE MOTHERBOARD PAPER WORK SAYS IT RUNS 1600MHZ MEMORY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I PUT IN 2000MHZ MEMORY. THE BOOK FOR THIS BOARD SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE 2000MHZ MEMORY BUT WOULD THIS WORK OR DAMAGE THE BOARD

it will do nothing to your mobo, but you will never be able to run the full 2000MHz of your RAM ( unless you go overclocking...but then you could damage either your mobo/cpu/RAM obviously)

Hello. I also have ASROCK M3A770DE. Currently it runs with 2x2gb. What really bothers me is if I can put 8GB ram (in one stick) module and there will be no problems? Couldnt find any information if this mainboard supports 8gb sticks. There is only info: "Max. capacity of system memory: 16GB", and since there is 4 slots on this mobo, it could be logical that one can handle only 4GB.
